Mommy Mailbox

I feel like I'm finally coming out of that newborn fog where you just want to lay in bed all day and cuddle your new baby! You don't really get that with a second baby when you have a toddler that is all go go go! We get our one on one snuggle during big sister's nap time and of course in the middle of the night! Phoebe has made this transition pretty easy on all of us, which I'm so so grateful for!

This past weekend was Michael's first weekend on the road again so I was totally by myself for 4 days! It surprisingly went really smoothly! Except for the last day when we were seriously low on food so we had Top Ramen for every meal! Top Ramen never killed anybody...but I was questioning if taking the two babies to the grocery store by myself would kill me;)

There's been a few items that have made our transition that much easier! And you can get them all in one place! Mommy Mailbox's Born For This box

Our favorite items from the box are the solly baby wrap, the mom's one line a day journal, and the pacifier clip!

Almost every mom of 2+ kids I asked what were their saving grace items mentioned a good baby wrap! And almost all of them suggested the solly baby wrap! And it's true...you simply need more hands as a mom! Whether you have one baby or 5 there's times when you need to get something done but baby needs to be held for 8 hours straight or she is screaming...we've all been there...or will. And that's where the wrap comes in!

The mom's one line a day journal I think is genius. The idea is so so simple but perfect for moms! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only mom out there that just doesn't have the time or discipline to write a paragraph over my baby's first blow out. That's what's so smart about this little journal, one line-that's all you need! And it keeps the days right next to each other for 5 years so it is easy and special to see jus how much has changed every year!

Pacifier clip. Keys, bobby pins, and pacifiers. Where is this secret place they keep ending up?? I can never keep track of ours! Maybe that's thanks to my toddler that thinks they are her toys...who knows! But what I do know is that keeping them on a pacifier clip 1. lets me "lock" it in one spot and 2. makes it harder for my toddler to steal it so I have time to stop her!
